Good food, but at that price point, underwhelming. Service was excellent and there was nothing wrong for the food, except for the price. One would expect much higher quality and attention to detail for the prices they are charging. Overall a good experience, made a lot bwtter by the staff. Tight, small tables though.
I think with some improvements these guys will do exceptionally well. Looking forward to seeing more.
I went here for my partner's birthday as a surprise, who is facing some serious health issues. I asked the restaurant to make the table a little romantic because I wanted it to be special, and they really outdid anything I expected!
Absolutely incredible, lovely service. The food was really tasty too, just the right portion sizes and thoughtfully arranged. The best place in Menai Bridge, hands down. Nothing like it for miles.
Small establishment that serves amazing food. Had 3 course meal and thoroughly enjoyed everything. Limited menu but all well executed. Food was freshly cooked and good quality, with great service. Highly recommend.

What a great new addition to the local food scene this is. I was lucky enough to try the braised venison and vanilla rice pudding from the new December menu yesterday and am pleased to say that they were both exquisitely cooked with a delicate balance of flavour throughout. The restaurant itself has been redesigned very tastefully and has a fabulous ambience and I was looked after very well by the staff. Thank you very much for a pleasurable visit, I shall definitely be coming again!
I have no idea how I found this little Gem but I'm so glad I did. I went here for my anniversary with my wife. The food and staff were amazing. It was nice listening to how they started during covid and its testament to how good their service and food is that they are still here today. Therecwasxa nice choice of food available. I know the cost of everything has gone up, but I was happy with my bill after. Not too expensive and certainly not cheap. We will come back again. Thank you for all your hard work.
We were staying in a local hotel and found this restaurant via Google reviews. What a gem of a restaurant! Very unassuming, but genuinely the best fillet steak we’ve had in a long time. All round excellent. Thank you!
A fantastic meal, the service was great. Never eaten John Dorey before but it was really tasty probably the best fish I have ever tasted. My husband said about the restaurant “absolutely superb I wish we had found this place on the first night”. Excellent, what more can I say?
